Hussein, a Palestinian youngman, receives a letter from the "israeli" post office requesting his presence to receive a package. He later finds out he has to pay 20K dollars in order to collect that package. Hussein’s curiosity drives him to sell everything he owns, despite the outright rejection of his mother, the matter that changes their lives afterwards — The story is an adaptation of the novel 'Blue Light' by the late poet Hussein Barghouty.

Ramzi Maqdisi was born in Jerusalem. He studied Performing Arts and began his professional career as an actor in the Palestinian National Theatre (2000-2005) and other theatres such as Al Rahala, Al Jawal and the Nordic Black Theatre in Oslo. His plays with PNT include Searching Handalah, One for the Road, Abu Munir Abed Raboh, Eyes That Can See, Al Sultan Al Aneed wa Al Hadad Asaid, and Mahmoud Darwish’s Jidariyya.

In 2005, Maqdisi received a scholarship from the A.M. Qattan Foundation to continue his studies in Theatre and Performing Arts at the University of Barcelona. During that period, he wrote the play 'Maturity' (‘Maduresa’), which got funded by the City Council of Barcelona and produced by Quds Art Theatre.

Soon afterwards, Ramzi started studying Film Directing at the Catalonia Filmmaking Studies Centre and wrote and directed the documentary film 'Behind the Wall' and other shorts features: Mirage, Year of Losses (adapted from the novel Ramallah, Mon Amour by Mahmoud Abu Hashash), The Red Beach, Under the Sky, Without Oxygen, and Or Hajar.
